The OR-T 140: Efficiency in a Compact Package
The latest addition, the OR-T 140, replaces the OR-T 130 and is equipped with a powerful BOSCH® Li-ion 18 V 4.0Ah battery, allowing the device to perform for extended periods without frequent recharging. Suitable for both PP and PET straps from 9 mm to 13 mm wide and thicknesses from 0.6 mm to 0.8 mm, this model offers a tension force up to 1200 N.
With a total weight of just 3.8 kg, including the battery, the OR-T 140 is ideal for light to medium packaging tasks. This model is also DEKRA certified, ensuring safety and quality.
OR-T 270: Versatile and Robust
The OR-T 270 takes over from the OR-T 260, with a protected BOSCH® Li-ion 18 V 4.0Ah battery and a tension force up to 2500 N. This model is suitable for strap widths from 13 mm to 16 mm and thicknesses from 0.65 mm to 1 mm. The weight remains manageable at 4.0 kg, including the battery, making it suitable for universal packaging applications across various industries.
Like its smaller sibling, the OR-T 270 is also tested and certified by DEKRA.
The OR-T 460: For Heavier Work
The OR-T 460 replaces the OR-T 450 and is specifically designed for heavier applications. With a maximum tension force of 4500 N and a robustly protected BOSCH® Li-ion 18 V 4.0Ah battery, this device is a powerhouse for wider plastic straps from 16 to 19 mm.
The weight of 4.2 kg makes the device still manageable for the user. DEKRA certification also confirms reliability and safety here.
The OR-T 670 remains a strong player
Alongside the new models, the OR-T 670 remains an essential part of the lineup, particularly valued in the metalworking industry for its ability to handle straps from 25 mm to 32 mm wide and up to 1.27 mm thick.
With an impressive tension force of 7000 N and a BOSCH® li-ion Coolpack battery, this model guarantees maximum performance and efficiency.
This new series of Orgapack strapping tools promises a significant step forward in packaging technology, focusing on efficiency, safety, and ease of use.
Certis Benelux continues to innovate to meet the ever-evolving needs of the packaging industry.

How does a strapping tool work?
The operation begins with placing the PET or PP strap around the object that needs to be secured. The user wraps the strap around the object and feeds the ends back into the device.
Once the strap is in place, the user activates the tensioning mechanism. This mechanism tightens the strap around the object, with the tension adjustable as desired. This tight strapping ensures that the load is securely held together during transport or storage.
After tensioning, the device ensures a secure closure of the strap. This is done through a heat-sealing process, where the ends of the strap are fused together. This creates a strong and reliable connection that does not easily come undone.
Finally, the device cuts the strap off just after the seal. This leaves a neat and secure strapping, without excess strap.
