Daily Maintenance

Each workday should end with a quick maintenance check:

• Clean the contact surfaces: use a dry brush or compressed air to remove dust, strap residue and dirt from the tension wheel and welding unit. This prevents performance loss or welding errors.
• Check the strap feed path: make sure the strap runs smoothly through the device and that no debris is obstructing it.
• Inspect the battery and charger: only use original batteries and chargers. Check for any damage and fully charge the battery once a month.

Weekly Maintenance

Once a week, take the time for a more thorough inspection:

• Check and replace wear parts: this includes the tension rollers, cutting blade, friction plate, drive belts and carbon brushes.
• Recalibrate parameters: adjust the tension and welding efficiency to ensure optimal performance.

Periodic Maintenance

Yearly or after approximately 50000 cycles (depending on usage intensity), a full inspection is due:
